Graham
King, is the driving force behind the business.
I spent 27 successful years with Natwest Bank PLC
undertaking a variety of roles from credit analyst
(at the Bank's Head Office) to Management roles in
Corporate and Retail Banking.
I was Deputy Manager of the flagship West End Branch
at Piccadilly Circus which, at one stage, housed
in
excess of 130 staff including eight managers, before
moving to a successful Business Centre in Kent (via
Corporate Banking at Oxford Circus Business Centre).
I specialised in funding (and supporting) start-up
businesses and existing Small and Medium sized Enterprises
(SME) in all business sectors and with a turnover
of
£0 - £5,000,000.
Some
of my most successful achievements include persuading
the bank's highest credit committee to provide
additional funding to support a well known high street
name on
the brink of collapse. The business went
on to achieve greater things. Working with and providing
solutions to businesses carrying
excessive amounts of debt and
nursing
them back to good health. Improving the performance
of my colleagues through training and coaching enabling
the business unit where we worked together to outshine
its peers.
I
also have hands-on experience in industry where
for an 18-month period I managed a
SME on behalf of
the existing shareholder. This gave me
first-hand experience of the many challenges
faced by
the small
business owner. During my time here I
introduced a new accounts package which
enhanced the purchase and sales order
processing system and stock control to
speed up production and increase profitability.
I am supported by a network of professional
